NATURAL HORMONE THERAPY

Wanted to tell you what a difference in my life and health since changing my direction with health issues by coming to NBH in Feb 2010.  Not to mention the weight loss, but my overall well being with using a natural product for thyroid issues instead of the RX that I was taking for years. Steve was 17 when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had stage 2 cancer which meant he would have to have aggressive chemotherapy. Steve went through  all that very well, it was the next two years after that were like a nightmare.  

Steve was feeling very depressed and knew something was going wrong with his body. At age 20, he had no sexual drive which was devastating to him- after much research through the internet  Steve was sure he knew the problem. Unfortunately two years of going to doctor after doctor, no one was helping him at all. He was told he was depressed and put on antidepressants which made his problems worse with the sex drive issues. Steve was very determined and kept pressing on to nowhere which was leading him to drink a lot and get himself into trouble.

Then one day I was at our family business and remembered my sister told me she was seeing a bio-identical doctor.  I started to wonder if there was a doctor that I could take Steve to. I called Med-Quest and told them I was looking for a Bio-Identical Hormone Doctor in San Antonio. A gentlemen I talked to said if I didn’t think the drive was too far  that he HIGHLY recommended Natural Bio Health (NBH Lifetime Health), so from there we made an appointment for Steve.

We met with both Dr. Jaime Gutierrez and Mike Clark. They really listened to Steve and cared so much, but even better they were able to help him get his life back. That was 2 years ago. Steve is like a different person now! I am so thankful we found them.

I’m a real believer in God and truly feel he led us to NBH to help Steve. Whatever you have been doing have turned me personally into a poster child for the benefits of the HGH+testosterone+thyroid+etc. regimen. For example, I had to give up running in 1988 due to a knee injury--I jammed my right knee into the (sharp) corner of a table leg. No less than Dr. Richard Steadman of the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado told me that there was nothing medicine could do and I would have to give up running. That was true for 15+ years, but now I can run again with no problems at all with that knee. I also have an ability to be physical with my very young (7 and 2.5 years) children that is, at least in my Family of Origin, positively unnatural for an almost-58-year-old male. I cannot say enough good things about the life-enhancing effects of whatever we are doing right now!

My name is Naomi.

At the end of a most stressful and demanding move in December of 2005, I found myself feeling more than normally anxious....as a matter of fact, I experienced disabling anxiety of a type which I have never had before. At age 56, I have had a great deal of demands in my life...many stressful events which weakened my usually exceedingly strong health…which resulted in the kind of crippling anxiety which almost literally had me jumping out of my skin…medical folks called it "fight or flight syndrome" but were unable to relieve the terrible symptoms.

Being a person who always researches and searches for excellent medical care, I visited physician after physician, and nurse practitioner after nurse practitioner for weeks through December and January, specialists in endocrinology and women's health, and got no relief. Finally, in absolute desperation and in consultation with close friends, I decided to try Natural Bio Health, where I first encountered Mike Clark, the clinic director.

Please let me say that I was a most challenging customer. I was in absolute misery, and expressed myself in very difficult and demanding ways, mainly due to my suspicions of what these folks were doing (I did not yet have any real concrete basis for trusting them) and also, due to my total physical exhaustion and the attendant mental misery it caused.

Throughout our visit, the clinic director was thorough in his handling of my questions, and was as pleasant as someone could be under such difficult circumstances. When I returned for my second visit during which we reviewed the results of the three blood panels which we did, I took my scientist husband, who is very cautious and very skeptical. After two hours of lengthy discussion, with many questions reviewed at great detail and exhausting minutiae, we decided to move forward, and I agreed to begin treatment with bio identical hormones.

I would like to stress that this is something which I undertook as an absolute last resort, and that I was unable to sleep through the night when I began, unable to get through a day without being upset many times, unable to interact normally with people due to my exhaustion, unable to carry out most of my normal activities, and generally deeply suspicious and angry and frustrated and deeply pessimistic about my whole outlook on life.

My alternative to taking the bio identical hormones prescribed, with great care, by the medical director of Natural Bio Health, was to take anti-depressants which I knew were unlikely to work (having taken them years ago and not having had a good reaction), so I felt pretty dependant on the folks at Natural Bio Health, and, most specifically on the clinic director, Mike Clark.

Let me say two important things: 1) I have become so healthy and so well that I do not recognize myself, and have been faithfully been taking my bio identical hormones as prescribed since my last office visit at Natural Bio Health on January 25th (it is now 2 months. later, March 28th); 2) the clinic director and his staff has been consistently hardworking, patient, understanding, and have listened EXCEEDINGLY CAREFULLY TO ME THROUGHOUT THIS TIME, AND I HAVE CALLED A MINIMUM OF ONCE A WEEK, AND OFTEN SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK.

I would recommend Natural Bio Health and their services completely. They have taken better care of me, and made me more healthy and well, than all of the clinics and physicians that attempted to treat me with traditional methods.

My HCG experience has been a great one, and I am loving the results!  Here are some of the highlights.

1.  I have lost 44 pounds, accomplished in two HCG rounds with a 4 week break in between.  My loss after the first round was 27 pounds.  Ordinarily, I would have been thrilled with that amount of weight loss and would have been delighted to stop right there.  But the protocol was so easy to follow and I felt so great on it, that I decided to go for a second round.  After two rounds and a total weight loss of 44 pounds, again I am making the decision to go forward for another round because it is not hard to follow and I feel my health has been so greatly improved by the weight loss and healthy eating.  I struggled with the decision of whether to do a third round, and finally concluded that the plan is so simple, why not?  I am on  maintenance now and will begin my third round after the holidays. 

2.  Since beginning the HCG protocol, I have never felt better.  My resistance to colds and flu has been greatly enhanced and I have not been ill with allergies or anything else since I began this new way of eating.  I used to have seasonal allergies that really affected my health greatly. They would start an upper-respiratory chain-reaction that always resulted in trips to the doctor, cough and bronchitis, sinusitis, medications, etc...  It is so great not to be burdened with allergies any more. 

3.  My smaller size has been a revelation to me.  This new person was hiding inside the old one for so long, I forgot she was there!  I have a renewed confidence in almost everything I do and I no longer feel awkward and out-of-place in my social circle.  Being a normal weight has allowed me to dress fashionably for the first time in years.  I can finally choose clothing based on what I actually like, and not just what fits.  Also, doing the laundry has really changed, too.  I used to drip-dry most of my clothing so I would not take a chance they would shrink.  Now I am purposely trying to shrink them because they are just too big. 

4.  I used to curse the steps in my three-story house.  There are 22 steps alone from the main floor to the walk-out basement where the garage, laundry room and my study are located. The old me grabbed the railing hard, and went down step by step, hoping my knees wouldn't hurt too much or give out on me.  Going down the stairs was very hard on my knees, and going up the steps made me huff and puff.  But now when I get to the top or bottom of the steps, I stop and marvel that it was so easy, I hardly give it a thought any more.  Even carrying heavy loads of laundry up and down the steps doesn't phase me at all. 

I think HCG is simply a miracle.  My friends who introduced me to your program think it is too, and another friend I brought to the program also feels the results are extraordinary.  This protocol really has taken away the desire for the terrible processed and high-sugar foods that were a staple in my previous diet.  I'm sure that maintenance will be easy for me now that this new way of eating has become a habit.  I look forward to losing more weight in my next round, and hope to go from average weight to thin very soon.

SLEEP

On another note, the Kavinace I purchased from you has been an instant miracle in our home. My husband was falling asleep around 11:00 p.m. only to wake at 2-3:00 am and not go back to sleep, this product cured that malaise in one night.  I have been unable to fall asleep for 3 years without some sort of sleeping aid. Just about the time I would fall asleep my heartbeat would accelerate as if I was scared out of my wits.
